Support Rods
Spring-steel rods, supporting each convolution, are totally enclosed with no metal edges exposed. Rods are included as a standard feature with each OTCO Lift Table Guard and can be easily installed in the field (shown here) or at our factory.
Installing Rods into guard: Start with top convolution having one person pushing the rod in and the other person holding the opposite end of skirt level. Insert one rod into each hole. If the rod does not slide in easily apply a lubricant to rod before inserting.

Built To Last - Inside & Out
This inside view of our standard lift table guard shows how the OTCO web "tie-tapes" are sewn to the inside of each convolution. These web tapes provide extra stability and uniform expansion and contraction of the bellows during operation of the lift table.

Ergonomic By Design
This Lift & Tilt Table is a typical example of the dual-action, ergonomic versatility available with OTCO Guards. (OTCO Lift Table Guards are available for tables with up to 90° tilt action.)

Mounting Options
(A) This lift table manufacturer prefers attaching the OTCO Lift Table Guard to the "outside" of the unit allowing the convolutions to extend beyond the lift table.
(B) Attaching the OTCO Lift Table Guards to the "inside" of the unit enables the convolutions to hang flush with the actual table dimension. This installation is an ideal solution for most pit-style applications where no amount of material can be allowed outside the actual pit dimension.
Note: this method can only be used if the convolutions do not interfere with the lift mechanism.

OTCO Guards Breathe!
All 4-sided OTCO Lift Table Guards have a durable, vinyl-coated mesh venting panel sewn into the upper convolution for the release of air or the drawing in of air during normal lift table operation.
